Refund and Returns Policy for Order

Here at Mai Sato Photography our customers are important to us and we want you to be happy with your purchase.

It’s important that you inspect your goods as soon as possible after they have been delivered.

If you are not happy with an item and the item is not faulty, you must return it to us in its original condition - the condition in which it was sold - and original packaging no later than 30 days from the day the item was received by you. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us and we will issue you with a full refund of the purchase price within 14 days of receiving the returned goods. Refunds are issued via the payment method that was used to purchase the goods.

 

Prior to returning the item, please contact us by [Email]  and we will guide you through our simple returns process.

 

Goods Damaged in Transit

If an item is damaged in transit, you must contact us by [Email] within 3 business days of receiving the damaged item. We will make arrangements to have the item returned to us and either send you a replacement or issue a refund.

Return of Faulty Goods

If you have received a faulty item, please contact us by [Email] so that we can assist you. 

 

Booking Payment & Cancellation Policy for Photo Sessions
Booking

For all photo session packages; a 30% retainer is due immediately to book and hold the date and also serves as a cancellation fee. However, the fee can be credited towards a future session upon the photographers approval. All remaining balances are due at the time of the session.

Cancellation Policy

If for any reason the Client cancels before the session date, the Photographer will keep the 30% retainer fee paid to hold the date as a cancellation fee. Cancellation must be made and sent in writing, by mail or e-mail. However, if the client would like to change the date, the retainer fee is transferable to another date.  In order to amend the date of your booking, it must be done with at least 48 hours notice. Special consideration is made for maternity sessions.

 

If Mai Sato Photography cannot perform this Contract due to fire or other casualty, strike, act of God, or other cause beyond the control of the parties, or due to Photographer’s illness or emergency, then the Photographer shall return the retainer fee to the Client but shall have no further liability with respect to the Contract. This limitation on liability shall also apply in the event that photographic materials are damaged in processing, lost through camera or other media malfunctions such as; lost in the mail, or otherwise lost or damaged without fault on the part of the Photographer.

 

No refund will be given under any circumstances if you fail to attend the activity on the day and time listed, of which the booking was made.

Due to the nature of digital photography and the fact that photographs, once sent, cannot be returned; Mai Sato Photography has a strict NO REFUNDS POLICY. Once a transaction has been completed (i.e., the buyer selected and paid for the photo and then Mai Sato Photography sent the buyer the correct photograph) it is then considered non-refundable. If a buyer has selected and purchase an incorrect photo, he/she must notify Mai Sato Photography, before receiving the “incorrect” photograph.

 

Refunds will NOT be given due to “not liking a photo”, selecting an incorrect photo after the buyer has already received the photograph, or any other reason. If Mai Sato Photography mistakenly sends an incorrect photo to the buyer, Mai Sato Photography will send the correct photo to the buyer free of charge.
